Novomatic Wins Granada License

Granada’s Ministry of Finance and Public Administration has given Novomatic a 15-year license to operate a casino in the Spanish province. The Casino de Monachil will create 200 new jobs.

Global gaming technology firm Novomatic has won a 15-year license to operate a gaming hall in Granada. The facility will be part of the tourism complex of Monachil, which includes a hotel with meeting space, sports areas and restaurants.

Novomatic’s bid exceeded the requirements of the tender, with 1,670 square meters (17,975 square feet) of gaming space, a bar and restaurant, entertainment facilities and a 213-vehicle parking area.
