Jamie Hummingbird of the Cherokee Nation has been elected to an eighth term as chairman of the National Tribal Gaming Commissioners & Regulators (NTGCR). Also reelected was Cori Blaschke (Ho-Chunk Nation) as treasurer. NTGCR officers serve two-year terms.

Hummingbird commented, “To be honored by the tribal gaming regulatory community by being elected to an eighth term is truly humbling. The organization has made tremendous strides over the years and I’m looking forward to working with my friends and colleagues on making the NTGCR even better for all tribal gaming regulators.”

The 2020 election was conducted remotely as a Zoom event.
