Stephen Starr coming to Ocean Casino Resort
Under the deal announced Thursday, two new dining concepts will open at Ocean Casino Resort this summer. Starr will work with the resort’s teams to support the double launch.
Both restaurant concepts will be located on the lobby level across from The Park, an outdoor area of the resort.
Starr, who worked in Atlantic City during his younger years, said he is excited by the prospect of the restaurants. He described the new partnership as bringing him “full circle” back to the New Jersey oceanfront city.
“It feels like a full circle moment for me to work on restaurant projects in Atlantic City,” he said. “Here, I formed some of my finest childhood memories, both at the beach and on America’s most popular boardwalk, where I worked as a teenager.”
Starr Seeks to Expand Restaurant Network
The two new locations at the Ocean Casino Resort will join an already-expansive network of STARR Restaurants.
Starr opened his first venue in 1995, focusing first on Philadelphia before expanding into New York in 2006. He also moved into Atlantic City in the same year.
Other locations across the U.S. include venues in both South Florida and Washington D.C. In addition, Starr established his first overseas location in Paris in 2016.
“I’m excited to work with the team at Ocean Casino Resort to develop the dining concepts this summer,” Starr added.
