Czech-based esports operator Oddin.gg has named Juana Bischoff as senior business development manager and Mark Balch as director of strategy.
Balch most recently served as head of esports for Sportradar, and will now focus on product development, data partnerships and more for Oddin. He brings upwards of 20 years of gaming experience, with seven of those years coming in the esports sector.
He said in a statement that he was “very proud to be joining the Oddin.gg team,” and added that it is “remarkable how much they have achieved and I am honored to be asked to help shape the future of the company on the topics that are close to me.”
Marek Suchar, Oddin’s co-founder and managing director, said, “He will help us get to the next level in the areas dearest to our hearts such as risk management, integrity and official data. Oddin.gg is already perceived as the top esports betting choice and we aspire to cement this position for the years to come. To achieve that goal, we need the best in the market on board and Mark perfectly fits the bill.”
Bischoff has over 10 years of sales experience, most recently as director of global accounts for Bayes Esports. As part of her new role, she will manage client relationships and facilitate new avenues for revenue growth.
Regarding the addition of Bischoff, Suchar said that “Juana will be a valuable member of the team to help further educate the market on esports topics. She will also build strong grassroots and mutually beneficial relationships within the industry for the years to come. We are excited to have her on board.”
