Okada Manila, an integrated resort in the Philippine capital’s Entertainment City casino zone, will host seven of PokerStars’ schedule of 21 live international tournaments through 2020.
PokerStars’ new home will replace its former base at City of Dreams Macau; that room closed in 2018, and two Asian Poker Tour (APT) events were cancelled that year.
The seven live events include the popular Red Dragon Manila, January 4-11; the Okada Manila Millions, March 9-15; the Manila Megastack, May 22-31; the Manila Super Series, July 6-12; APPT Manila, July 31-August 9; the Manila Super Series, September 22-28; and the Manila Megastack Challenge, December 6-13.
The winners of the Red Dragon in January and the Manila Megastack event in May will each win a Platinum Pass to the PokerStars Players Championship 2020, to be held in Barcelona August 20-24, 2020.
