The facility will offer 290 electronic gaming machines and create 90 full- and part-time jobs. The tribe is consulting on the project with Global Gaming Solutions, a Chickasaw Nation enterprise that operates more than 24 Oklahoma casinos.

Ponca Enterprise Gaming, a subsidiary of the Ponca Tribe of Indians of Oklahoma, has begun construction of the Fancy Dance Casino near Perry. It’s expected to open next summer with a 10,000-square-foot property offering 290 electronic gaming machines. The project will create 90 full-time and part-time jobs.

Ponca Enterprise Gaming Chief Executive Officer Richard Lonsinger said, “The new Fancy Dance Casino will be a source of revenue and stable employment for the Ponca Tribe and residents for years to come. The selection of three Oklahoma-based companies is a prime example of how quickly it will begin making a difference for Oklahomans. We’re proud to be the source of such great economic impact not only to surrounding counties but also to our tribe’s members.”

The tribe is consulting with Global Gaming Solutions, a Chickasaw Nation business that operates more than two dozen Oklahoma casinos, regarding the Fancy Dance Casino. Lonsinger said, “The expertise Global Gaming Solutions brings to the Fancy Dance Casino ensures future patrons will have the best possible experience when they visit. We’re happy to have the opportunity to work with leading industry experts, and we look forward to providing a top-notch entertainment experience to residents and visitors.”

The tribe had to close two casinos in 2002 and 2003 due to regulatory issues raised by the National Indian Gaming Commission.
