Two Sac and Fox Nation casinos in Oklahoma—Black Hawk Casino Shawnee and Sac and Fox Casino in Stroud—closed until further notice after a gaming employee tested positive for Covid-19. Officials said the venues were closed “out of an abundance of caution” and they are working with the tribe’s chief medical officer to make sure all guests and employees are safe.
In a statement, the tribe said, “During the temporary closure, both facilities will be deep cleaned and disinfected. A comprehensive health and sanitation program is in place.”
Reopening information will be posted on the tribe’s Facebook page as it becomes available.
