The Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corp. (OLG) has signed a five-year partnership deal with the NFL in Ontario and Canada. The deal was announced February 7.
The announcement came days after OLG went live with its PROLINE retail sports betting platform. PROLINE retail and online are the only legal sportsbooks in the province until the open regulated market begins April 4.
The partnership includes events and promotions, new football content delivered through OLG’s and the NFL digital platforms. It debuted February 9 with a new online sports video series “Game Plan.”
OLG is a crown corporation whose profits go to the government.
Dave Pridmore, OLG chief digital and strategy officer, commented, “This exciting collaboration with a world-class organization like the NFL creates new sports entertainment experiences that give sports fans all across the province an incredible opportunity to get closer to the sport they love through exclusive, one-of-a-kind gameplay.”
