Stephen Rigby (l.), who has led the Ontario Lottery and Gaming Commission as president and chief executive officer for five years, has announced he will step down.

OLG’s CEO Rigby to Step Down

Stephen Rigby, president and chief executive officer of the Ontario Lottery and Gaming Commission, will soon step down from the role he has held since 2015. Rigby will remain in the position until summer, to allow the organization to appoint a successor and work to ensure a smooth transition.

Rigby’s tenure has seen OLG’s casino profits in Ontario grow from $1.24 billion in Canadian dollars to nearly $2.6 billion with $3 billion expected by FY 2022-23. OLG opened four new casinos during the same period and started construction on three others.
