Ontario Casinos Lift Capacity Limits

Niagara Casinos say Premier Doug Ford’s (l.) lifting of capacity limits for businesses in Ontario a “welcome step in the right direction.” The company operates two gaming halls in the Canadian province.

Ontario Casinos Lift Capacity Limits

On October 25, Ontario Premier Doug Ford began lifting capacity limits on casinos and similar businesses such as restaurants, bars and bingo halls.

The province will “incrementally” lift Covid protocols, such as vaccine passports and mask mandates until March 2022, said Ford.

This action was a “welcome step in the right direction,” said Richard Taylor, president of Niagara Casinos, which has two gaming halls in the province.

“We’re reviewing these new guidelines and are excited to continue welcoming back more of our outstanding guests and associates,” Taylor said. “As always, the safety of our guests and associates will remain our number one priority, and our dedicated associates remain committed to providing the exceptional service you’re used to.”

Niagara Casinos’ Fallsview Casino Resort’s 1,500-seat Avalon Theater will once again host live entertainment after many months of being closed.
