Ontario’s Shorelines Casino Belleville Opens

Shorelines Casino Belleville, owned by Great Canadian Gaming Corporation, recently opened in the Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation's East Gaming Bundle. The property features 450 slots and table games, a buffet, restaurant and performance space, plus the interactive PlaySmart Centre, operated by the Responsible Gambling Council.

Shorelines Casino in Belleville, Ontario opened on January 11. The venue is owned by Great Canadian Gaming Corporation, majority shareholder and lead operator of the Ontario Gaming East Limited Partnership.

Great Canadian Vice President Operations East Craig DeMarta said, “We are so very honored to be in the position to open a gaming entertainment facility of this magnitude in Ontario, especially considering the last casino opened in the province 10 years ago. As a company with over 30 years of gaming experience, we are confident in our ability to create and deliver an exceptional overall entertainment experience.” OGELP was selected by the Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation to operate gaming facilities in OLG’s East Gaming Bundle, which contains three gaming zones.

Shorelines Casino Belleville features more than 450 state-of-the-art interactive slot machines plus blackjack, roulette, baccarat and other table games. Dining options include a buffet and the Windward Restaurant. The Windward Lounge offers a live performance space for local music and comedy. The casino also offers the interactive PlaySmart Centre, operated by the Responsible Gambling Council.
