Ontario to Launch Online Gaming

Ontario is the latest Canadian province to offer a regulated online gaming system. The site, PlayOLG, will launch in the coming weeks.

The Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corp. announced Tuesday that it will begin offering online gambling through a site named PlayOLG.

The launch will be made “in the coming weeks.”

Notices were sent to members of OLG’s existing loyalty program members of the new site. The site will offer lottery ticket sales as well as online versions of games like blackjack, roulette and single-player poker. The will later expand to include poker games between multiple users, officials said.
