No opening date has been announced for the Lisboeta Resort in Macau’s Peninsula district, though it’s home to some tourist attractions listed in the government’s “Stay, Dine and See Macao” tourism initiative.
The resort was licensed to operate in 2020 and has since been participating in the quarantine hotel program of the city’s Novel Coronavirus Response and Coordination Center.
According to Macau Business, some amenities at the resort will open in July, including its GoAirborne Indoor SkyDiving attraction,; a zip line named ZipCity; and the Lisboeta night market next to the Macau Palace.
“We will still be supporting the government to operate the optional medical observation hotel, while the attraction facilities are independent from the hotel tower which allow visitors to enjoy the facilities,” said a statement from Macau Theme Park and Resorts Ltd., headed by Arnaldo Ho, son of the late gaming tycoon Stanley Ho and legislator and SJM Holdings Managing Director, Angela Leong.
The hotel will include 820 guestrooms plus other entertainment attractions including Emperor Cinemas, Macau’s “first mega indoor electric karting” facility and outdoor event space.
