The Wildhorse Racing & Casino expansion in Mission, Oregon that has been ongoing for a year is nearing its end and it should open by the end of September. It will do a low-key grand opening without the usual flash.
The expansion includes a bowling center, food court and arcade. Quaking Aspens Lanes is a 24-lane, state-of-the-art bowling center that the Confederated Tribes of the Umatilla Indian Reservation anticipates will eventually host leagues and tournaments.
The food court will have two independent vendors and two restaurants managed by the tribe. Three restaurants will share a 3000 square foot dining room. They include Moe Phở and Brigham Fish ‘n Chips, with the former featuring cuisine from Thailand, Cambodia and Vietnam. The latter will prepare fresh, wild-caught fish from the Columbia River. The restaurant run by the casino will serve family fare such as pizza and burgers.
The Family FunPlex arcade is expected to open before the end of the month.
