Roar Digital struck a deal with the Confederated Tribes of the Grand Ronde in Oregon to operate a retail sportsbook and mobile app at the Spirit Mountain Casino in conjunction with BetMGM. The June 18 agreement includes eventual statewide online sports betting also using the BetMGM platform. The system is pending regulatory approval.

Spirit Mountain Casino is the largest gaming property in Oregon, according to CDC Gaming Reports.

“This partnership will allow us to extend our established position as the Northwest’s premier entertainment destination,” said Stan Dillon, general manager of Spirit Mountain Casino.

Roar Digital is a joint venture partnership between MGM Resorts International and GVC Holdings. BetMGM operates 13 sportsbooks in Nevada, Mississippi, Michigan and New Jersey, and mobile sports wagering in those states.

“We have found a great partner and look forward to working with the tribe to bring a leading retail and online sports betting experience to Oregon,” said Roar Digital CEO, Adam Greenblatt.
