The Pennsylvania Lottery has partnered with financial technology service provider Global Payments Gaming Solutions to process transactions under the lottery’s new iLottery online program.
Through the partnership, the lottery aims to provide iLottery players with a frictionless way to deposit, play and withdraw winnings.
Global Payments’ Gaming Solutions subsidiary is to deploy its automated clearinghouse services to allow customers to pay into their accounts and receive cash prizes using their checking accounts.
“Online and mobile gaming is a natural evolution for the Pennsylvania Lottery, and Global Payments is helping us make the consumer experience frictionless as we modernize our business and generate new funds to benefit older Pennsylvanians,” Pennsylvania Lottery Executive Director Drew Svitko said.
Global Payments Gaming Solutions President Christopher Justice added, “Global Payments Gaming Solutions has almost two decades of experience working with gaming organizations to provide a simple, secure and convenient player experience.
“We’re thrilled that Pennsylvania Lottery selected Global Payments to help them increase engagement and accessibility as they offer new innovative experience.”
Launched in June, the PA iLottery site is powered by the lottery’s long-term partner Scientific Games Corporation, with an Income Access-powered affiliate program established to drive traffic to the site.
