Gary McGann is the new chairman at Irish bookmakers Paddy Power, replacing Nigel Northridge. McGann joined the company as a non-executive director last November. Northridge also joined Paddy Power as a non-executive director, in 2003, and served as chairman since January2009.

Irish bookmakers Paddy Power announced Gary McGann has replaced Nigel Northridge as chairman. McGann joined the company last November as a non-executive director.

The company announced in May that Northridge was leaving the position he had held since January 2009. He joined Paddy Power in July 2003 as a non-executive director. Northridge noted serving on the company’s board for 11 years had been “a pleasure. The group has made great strides in that time due in no small part to the endeavor and commitment of my board colleagues and of management, present and past, for which I thank them.”
