Pala Casino Spa & Resort announced last week that it has completed a year of expansion and renovation of its gaming, entertainment and dining facilities.
The work included new wall coverings, new furniture on the gaming floor and new chandeliers throughout the facility.
Pala CEO Bill Bembenek announced “With the completion of this work, all of the planned interior expansion and renovation of our gaming, dining, spa, pool and entertainment facilities, which began in October 2017, is finished.”
The 12-month project included a new 10,000 square foot gaming area for 300 slots and video games, a new bar and lounge, new 15,000 square-foot smoke-free gaming area with more than 300 slots and video poker machines, live poker, cashier services, new restaurants and an expansion of two existing eateries, Noodles Asian Restaurant, which now has twice as much floor area and Luis Rey’s bar and lounge, which was also doubled in area and whose bar is now half inside and outdoors.
The Marquise Bar is noteworthy for being in the middle of the new gaming floor and its bar being decorated with hundreds of crystals.
The smoke-free area is separated from the rest of the casino by glass walls from floor to ceiling. It has a separate entrance from the hotel, so players don’t have to be exposed to smoke if they choose.
