Paltronics Acquires SkyWire

Paltronics Australasia, an Australian-based gaming and hospitality technology solution provider, has completed its acquisition of SkyWire Point of Sale (POS), Spa and Activities Scheduling assets from SkyWire Media Inc.

Paltronics formally incorporated a new subsidiary Pal USA Inc., a U.S. entity, to pursue opportunities in North America and market its new suite of gaming and hospitality products under the new brand Pebble.

Paltronics integration of SkyWire’s POS to Pebble’s hospitality suite of solutions provides operators with tools necessary to perform in today’s post-pandemic operation.

With its flexible options for onsite or cloud hosted solutions, customizations, and mobile-friendly platforms, the Pebble POS is focused on improving the patron experience at payment transaction outlets leveraging social access, cashless transactions, contactless mobile ordering, frictionless payments—and all integrated with onsite property management systems.

Under the terms of the agreement, Paltronics, has received the source code, customers contracts, and most importantly, a place to grow for many of the key employees displaced as a result of Covid-19.

“Utilizing Paltronics’ global gaming reach, its overall strategy is to develop with our core strengths and explore other niche opportunities to consolidate the various disparate solutions providing operational and financial efficiencies with complimentary product lines,” says Paltronics’ Managing Director Terri Cooper.

“For our customers and patrons, these integrations represent the unlocking of new features and services previously hindered by the disconnect of applications. The acquisition of SkyWire’s POS system to our suite of solutions was a natural fit given adjacency of both gaming and loyalty.”

Paltronics offers an end-to-end solution that centrally links slots (progressive, mystery and bonus games), table games and media across one or multiple properties via a local or wide-area network.
