LT Game, the Macau-based subsidiary of Paradise Entertainment Limited, has signed a deal with electronic table game supplier Interblock under which Interblock will have rights to certain intellectual property involving non-live multi-game electronic table game units in Macau.
The press release announcing the agreement did not specify which intellectual property rights of which title has been granted although it notes that the deal grants “non-exclusive rights” to Interblock.
Paradise Entertainment had issued a positive profit alert in July, attributing 160 percent of revenue to the sale of electronic gaming equipment and systems, according to a report in Macau Business. Representatives of Paradise Entertainment told the newspaper the agreement covers gaming terminals offering baccarat, roulette and sic bo on different tables while on the same terminal.
Michael Hu, Vice President Asia of Interblock, told Macau Business, “Obtaining the intellectual property rights of non-live licensed gaming machines in Macau not only cements our leading market position but also paves our way to access to the Macau market.”
Interblock provides its electronic table game systems in more than 200 jurisdictions.
