A public tender for a casino concession in Paraguay has been canceled. Three bids were submitted and were supposed to be opened on November 30, reported Games Magazine Brasil; Gaming Commission President José Ortiz Báez said commissioners need more time to ensure a transparent process.

“We wanted to give more participation to more people who may be interested so that there is more transparency, evaluating the interests for the state and for third parties,” Ortiz Báez said. The process will resume in 2019.
