PartyPoker has a new app for iPad and iPhones for fast-forward players.
The app is available for iPad and iPhone in the UK, Ireland, Austria and Sweden and available through Apple’s iTunes store.
According to reports, the app allows players to swipe and tap the screen rather than using the normal bet, raise and fold buttons.
Players can also pre-set bet amounts by clicking on the pot and selecting bet types or use a slider on the bottom of the screen to opt for more precise bets.
“We’re redefining what it means to play one-handed,” PartyPoker said in a press release. “Our new fastforward: special edition poker app features a patent pending swipe-based interface that adds another gear to playing fast-forward poker. We engineered it specifically for mobile handset users, after thinking about how we use these devices—or should use these devices—to play card games. The game is the same, but how you play is nothing at all like on other mobile poker games.”
