Parx to Add Jobs in Expansion

Parx Casino in Bensalem, Pennsylvania held a job fair September 27 in an effort to add 200 new jobs in support of a $50 million expansion of the casino.

Parx Casino at Philadelphia Park in Bensalem, Pennsylvania, the highest-earning casino, held a job fair last week in anticipation of adding 200 jobs as part of a million expansion. Parx, which currently employs 2,500, held the event to fill new positions in food and beverage, security, table game operations (dealers), entertainment, customer service, cashiers, cleaning and valet parking.

The previously announced expansion will add 45,000 square feet of space, including gaming space and non-gaming amenities including ne restaurants and a multi-purpose live entertainment venue. Slated to open in December, it is the second phase of a multi-phased expansion first announced in 2015.

The first phase added slots, table games, a high-end room and other gaming offerings.
