Pennsylvania’s Parx Casino is partnering with online gaming supplier GameAccount Network to create a free-play site for Parx using GameAccount’s Simulated Gaming system.
The free-play site will be launched by the end of the year, the partners say. Under the agreement, GameAccount’s GameSTACK Internet Gaming System will be deployed, which will enable Parx to upgrade immediately from free play to real-money wagering should Pennsylvania legalize iGaming.
“GameAccount has demonstrated its regulated gaming capability in New Jersey, and the merits of Simulated Gaming when integrated with a casino management system,” said Greenwood Entertainment & Racing chief technology officer John Dixon.
“By deploying their system on-property, Parx Casino will have the opportunity to launch Simulated Gaming nationwide before year’s end and be well prepared in the event regulation of real-money internet gaming emerges in the state of Pennsylvania.”
Dermot Smurfit, chief executive officer of GameAccount, added, “This year has seen the launch of Simulated Gaming in the U.S., and Parx’s selection of our unique internet gaming service is further validation of the monetization model, the underlying strength of our regulation-ready Internet Gaming System, the promotional capabilities of our back office and relevant appeal of our widening gaming portfolio.”
