Omnichannel payment solutions provider Pavilion Payments has announced the acquisition of CasinoSoft, a specialist compliance solutions provider for the casino and sports betting industry.
Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed. However, Pavilion Payments said the deal would create a “unified solution that simplifies and modernizes gaming operations.”
CasinoSoft counts anti-money laundering and Title 31 compliance among its services to customers. It also offers automated tax form processing, jackpot handling and regulatory reporting software.
The combined Pavilion Payments and CasinoSoft offering will be made available for land-based activity across floor, cage and slot operations. It will also be open to both iGaming and sportsbook operators.
Pavilion Payments Eyes Further Innovation
Diallo Gordon, president of Pavilion Payments, said the deal will drive further development and innovation for the provider.
“With this acquisition, we plan to grow the broader Pavilion business with several new patents, innovative products, and transformative solutions that position us as the clear leader in fintech payments, cashless gaming, cage, and floor automation,” Gordon said.
CasinoSoft principal and owner Matt Montano said linking up with Pavilion Payments will move the business to the “next level.”
“The success of our robust suite of AML/Title 31 and tax form products is evidenced by the longstanding partnerships we enjoy with our many satisfied customers throughout the industry,” Montano said.
Another Step Forward for Pavilion Payments
Pavilion Payments is still a relatively new name in the industry. The business only came to be just over two years ago when it was spun off as a new brand.
Global Payments Gaming Solutions officially became the independent Pavilion Payments on April 1, 2023. This followed Boston-based Parthenon Capital’s acquisition of the Gaming Solutions division from Global Payments Inc.
Pavilion Payments continues to offer Global Payments Gaming Solutions’ suite of payments solutions for the gaming industry. This includes VIP Preferred and the VIP Mobility cashless solution.
