Pechanga to Open Resort Expansion December 22

Pechanga Resort & Casino will cement its position as the largest tribal casino in California on December 22 when it opens its $285 million upgrade. The expansion includes a new hotel tower that will bring the total to 1,000 rooms.

Three days before Christmas, Pechanga Resort & Casino, in California’s Riverside County, will open its $285 million upgrade that includes a new hotel tower.

The new tower will bring the total number of hotel rooms up to over 1,000.

Pechanga Band of Luiseño Indians Chairman Mark Macarro commented last week, “This development will build upon the quality and reputation of the original resort and continue our Tribe’s entrepreneurial spirit for future generations.”

Besides the new hotel tower, the resort will feature a 17-treatment room spa and a large health and fitness club.

The casino resort, located just off Interstate 15 adjacent to the city of Temecula, first opened in 2002.
