Pennsylvania’s 12 casinos generated more than $275 million in gaming revenues for August, representing a 2.82 percent increase over the same month last year. The growth was driven by a rare jump I slot revenue, which grew 4.42 percent to $201.7 million, according to figures released by the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board.
Table game revenue was down slightly compared with last year, with casinos taking in $73,281,371 for a 1.33% year-on-year decrease.
The August numbers were enough to push Pennsylvania gaming revenue past the $2 billion mark for the year.
