Pennsylvania to Ease Covid Restrictions April 4

Pennsylvania casinos are preparing to welcome more guests back next week, as Governor Tom Wolf announced on March 15 that casinos can increase capacity April 4 from 50 percent to 75 percent, and that alcohol can again be served on casino floors. Dining capacity will increase from 25 percent to 50 percent.

“We can increase now to about 1,500 people in the casino to the first floor and on the second floor, and our restaurants get to pick up another 20-30 seats,” Live! Casino Pittsburgh General Manager Sean Sullivan told local station WPXI-TV. “So it’s all helpful. There’s about three to four hours every night where we get really busy and we click and count everybody coming in, and we know we can’t get over 1,000 people currently.

“We can now serve alcoholic beverages to the casino floor, past 11 o’clock so we can now go to 2 a.m. That’s big.”
