Pete Rose Bar & Grill Opens at On Strip

Pete Rose now is the only celebrity with a restaurant on the Las Vegas Strip after his Pete Rose Bar & Grill (l.) opened on October 14 at the Hawaiian Marketplace located across from the Aria. The new restaurant features specialty menu items referencing the three cities in which Rose played professional baseball and has 32 beers.

Baseball legend Pete Rose on October 14 opened his Pete Rose Bar & Grill, which is located in the Hawaiian Marketplace across from the Aria resort.

The 9,000-square-foot sports bar and grill features specials prepared by chef Brian Littlejohn, whose menu items reference the three cities in which Rose played Major League Baseball—Cincinnati, Philadelphia, and Montreal. Among house specialties are Cincinnati chili on spaghetti, Canadian poutine, and the always-popular Philly cheese steak sandwich.

Rose says his is the only restaurant on the Las Vegas Strip to feature a celebrity’s name.

“It always surprised me in Las Vegas the past nine years why no celebrity put their name on a restaurant. Star chefs, yes, but not celebrities except for Jimmy Buffet with Margaritaville, so I decided I’d do it,” Rose told the Las Vegas Sun.

In addition to a specialty menu, Rose said the sports bar and grill has 32 kinds of beers, and it’s a great place to relax and watch a game.
