SkyCity Entertainment Group in New Zealand announced Shaun Philp has been named chief people and culture officer, effective September 4, pending regulatory approval.
Greg McNair, general manager employee services−people and culture Auckland, will fill the position in the interim.
Philp has held the position of chief people officer at the telecommunications firm Chorus New Zealand Ltd. Since 2017. Previously he held a variety of leadership roles, including general manager human resources at AMP New Zealand, and in Australia.
In a statement released by SkyCity, Philp is described as a “senior human resources executive with expertise in supporting leadership and culture transformation.”
