Phoenix-Area Tribal Casinos Become More Competitive

The tribal casinos in Arizona’s Phoenix metro area are upping their competitive game against Las Vegas by adding table games, increasing high roller games and offering more entertainment.

The Phoenix Business Journal also reported that the casinos, besides adding roulette, have added sports betting and are increasing perks they offer patrons, such as higher betting limits.

This has all happened as a result of the tribal state gaming compacts adopted two years ago.

The Journal noted that the changes were on display during the Super Bowl weekend that was highlighted by celebrity events such as Shaq’s Fun House and the Sports Illustrated Super Bowl party held at the Talking Stick Resort.
