Pickering Casino Resort Opens in Toronto

Great Canadian Entertainment has opened a $500 million casino, the Pickering Casino Resort (l.), in Toronto, Ontario. The new property has 96,000 square feet of gaming space, 2,200 slots, 140 live-deal stadium terminals and 90 table games. It also has a dedicated sports betting lounge.

The $500 million Pickering Casino Resort has opened in Toronto, Ontario, Canada with 275 hotel rooms, 96,000 square feet of gaming, including 2,200 slot machines, 140 live dealer stadium gaming terminals and 90 gaming tables. The resort is owned and operated by Great Canadian Entertainment, which operates 25 gaming venues in four Canadian provinces.

The resort also includes a fully dedicated sports betting lounge, where customers can dine, drink and place wagers at several kiosks. The 2,500-seat auditorium can accommodate concerts, sporting events with the first scheduled for January 28.

Dining venues include a Chinese seafood restaurant, a casual Italian eatery and the Rock House Grill.
