Pinnacle Sports Licensed in Malta

Malta has issued a gaming license to online sportsbook Pinnacle Sports. The company had a change of ownership in 2014, but has not disclosed who the owner is.

The Malta Gaming Authority has issued a Class 2 Provisional Gaming License to online sportsbook Pinnacle Sports.

The company announced a change of ownership in August 2014, but did not disclose that owner’s identity.

Pinnacle CEO Paris Smith said the license is a foundation for a growth strategy and “…initiates ambitious plans for expansion into regulated markets, and the development of relevant B2B relationships.”

Pinnacle is reported to be eyeing expansion into Asia and Sports Betting Review reports that the company is working on an upgrade to both its infrastructure and betting product.
