Las Vegas-based Pinnacle Entertainment announced it will hold a job fair on August 19 to hire 200 new employees at its St. Louis-area casinos, including Ameristar Casino Resort Spa St. Charles and River City Casino & Hotel in St. Louis. Named by the St. Louis Business Journal this year as a “Best Place to Work,” the company will fill full-time and part-time positions in casino operations, finance, food and beverage, hotel operations, security, warehouse and purchasing.
The 130,000 square foot Ameristar Casino has 2,507 slot machines, 77 table games and a 397-room hotel. The 90,000 square foot River City casino has 2,011 slots, 61 table games and 200 hotel rooms. The two St. Louis-area casinos generated $1.2 billion in revenue in 2014, up from $650.1 million in 2013, Pinnacle’s annual report.
