Rapper, singer and record producer Pitbull was named Casino Entertainer of the Year at the eighth annual Casino Entertainment Awards (CEA), which were livestreamed last week as a virtual awards ceremony.
Comedian Ken Jeong was named Casino Comedian of the Year and musical artists 98 Degrees were named Casino Musical Artists of the Year.
Country music singer-songwriter Lee Greenwood and Live Nation-Concerts West concert promoter John Meglen were honored with Casino Entertainment Legend awards, which recognize lifetime achievement in the casino entertainment industry.
Other CEA recipients included:
- Thunder From Down Under received the CEA for Casino Production Show of the Year.
- Pechanga Theater at Pechanga Resort Casino was named Showroom/Theater of the Year.
- Park Theater at Park MGM Las Vegas received the Casino Arena/Amphitheater of the Year award.
- Chris Baldizan, Senior Vice President of Entertainment Booking and Development, MM Resorts International, was named Casino Entertainment Executive of the Year.
- Leslie Master, Casinos Talent Buyer, Live Nation, was named Independent Talent Buyer of the Year.
- Seth Shomes, Vice President and Head of the Casino Division at United Talent Agency, was named Casino Booking Agent of the Year.
The CEA livestream broadcast will be re-streamed this Friday, Saturday and Sunday, Nov. 20, 21 and 22, at 8:00 p.m. Eastern/5:00 p.m. Pacific on www.CasinoEntertainmentAwards.com.
