Play’n GO Certified in Portugal

Play’n GO will enter the Portuguese online gambling market after the slots developer was certified to launch in the country. The developer will now be able to work with both new and existing partners that hold a license to operate in Portugal such as PokerStars.

Online slots developer Play’n GO has been certified to enter the Portuguese online gambling market and will now be able to work with both new and existing partners that hold a license to operate in Portugal.

Current customers include PokerStars, which recently launched its online casino in the country. Players on PokerStars Casino will now have access to Play’n GO slot games, the company said in a press release.

“We want as many people as possible to enjoy our games, and we also want our clients, both current and future, to be able to rely on us to have a presence wherever they seek to develop their operations,” Play’n GO chief executive Johan Törnqvist said in the release. “We’re excited by this move into a new market, and we look forward to exploring more new ground in the future.”

Play’n GO has also launched in both Sweden and the Philippines this year and the developer said it hopes to expand into additional markets before the end of 2019.
