Play’n GO Wins Romanian License

The license secures for the Swedish game developer a presence across all remote platforms in the Eastern European nation. Romania has moved only recently to formalize its growing online market.

The Romanian National Gambling Office has awarded Sweden’s Play’n GO a license to supply online game content in the country’s newly regulated remote markets.

The supplier will now be able to market and distribute its content to all online channels in the country.

Play’n GO attributed the award to award to increasing demand for its content from Romanian players.

CEO Johan Törnqvist said, “This is a landmark day for the company and we are delighted to have been awarded a gaming license for Romania, a growing market that we have had our eyes on for some time.”
