PlayStar has named Dan Alexander (l.), a 10-year gaming industry veteran, as the company’s new chief operating officer as it prepares to enter the New Jersey market.

PlayStar, the online casino brand set to make its New Jersey market debut later this year, has added another industry veteran to its senior management team with the appointment of Dan Alexander as chief operating officer.

Alexander joins PlayStar with a decade of industry experience. He has spent the last three years at bet365 as head of casino, and prior to that he was head of product and platform at Mansion. During his time at bet365 he was responsible for taking the operator’s online casino brand into new global markets and managing a team responsible for more than 10 international gaming licenses.

At PlayStar, Alexander will use this experience to build the foundations of the brand’s online casino product. He also will play a central role in growing the team with more creative talents in the industry.
