London-based iGaming content supplier Playtech announced a new five-year contract extension with Flutter Entertainment for its Paddy Power, Betfair and Sky Casino brands. Under the new agreement, Playtech will provide its products and services to all three brands for their online gambling and live casino offerings.
Alongside its industry-leading products and services, Playtech has worked with its licensees to raise industry standards in responsible business and safer gambling. By partnering and working with the leading operators and suppliers in the industry, Playtech led efforts to develop the industry’s first code of conduct on safer game design.
This five-year deal represents a significant extension of Playtech’s successful long-term relationship with key strategic partner Flutter. Playtech’s suite of products and services will be available in many of Flutter’s operations across Europe. In addition, Playtech will continue to provide exclusive dedicated studios for Paddy Power, Betfair and Sky Casino with respect to their live casino offerings, including the exclusive launch of Sky Vegas Live Casino in early 2021.
“Flutter is one of Playtech’s key strategic partners, and so this new long-term agreement to supply our innovative software and services across four key product verticals is significant,” said Shimon Akad, chief operating officer of Playtech. “This is testament to the longstanding and strong relations between Flutter and Playtech, and we look forward to continuing to work with Flutter in its core markets to support Paddy Power, Betfair and Sky Casino over the next five years.”
Conor Grant, CEO of Flutter’s UK&I Division, added, “We are pleased to have signed an extension agreement with Playtech. Over the years we have built a very successful partnership and are excited to continue offering our customers access to software from one of the world’s leading suppliers of high-quality gaming product.”
