Rank Group-owned Mecca Bingo and Omni-channel gaming software, systems and services supplier Playtech have signed a multi-year contract regarding bingo and games. The two firms already have partnered for a decade.
Under the agreement, Playtech Bingo will remain the exclusive provider of bingo and games for the UK brand. The extension also benefits Mecca through providing dedicated content development. In addition, the agreement includes Playtech’s Open Platform, which will allow Mecca to offer its players Playtech and third -party games content.
Playtech Vice President UK Operations Daniel Phillips said, “The network is performing well with stakes and active players at their highest ever levels and our licensees have made a great start to 2017. Mecca is one of those, so we are therefore very pleased to continue our longstanding relationship with the Rank Group and our collaborative approach will help drive their bingo business into the next decade and beyond.”
Rank Group’s Group Director Colin Cole-Johnson, added, “It is a suite of products our customers know and love, and this has been an important partnership for Mecca since 2006, so naturally we are pleased that an agreement has been reached to develop this further.”
