Playtech was busy last week, announcing two major deals.
British bookmaker Ladbrokes has launched a new live-dealer service with online casino software supplier Playtech. Ladbrokes will migrate to Playtech’s full range of gaming products in a move that it due to be completed in time for the 2014 FIFA World Cup national football tournament this summer, The companies’ said in a press release.
The new suite of Live-Dealer games includes roulette, blackjack, baccarat and casino hold ‘em and allows players to bet with a live dealer and experience games in high-definition quality, the release said.
The deal allows the Live Dealer product to deliver back office systems to support ‘bonusing’ and improvements in customer service for Ladbrokes. The bookmaker will also be able to increase the number of live-dealer tables available to customers.
“Playtech Live Dealer further extends the range of Playtech’s market leading products available to Ladbrokes customers,” Jim Mullen, Ladbrokes digital managing director said. “The launch follows the delivery of the Vegas tab of casino games in July, the Mobenga sports betting mobile app in December and the launch of Playtech Poker on our gaming site just before Christmas. It is another important milestone for our digital business.”
Meanwhile, Playtech announced a deal with Bulgarian slot manufacturer Casino Technology under which Playtech’s cross-platform technology will bring Casino Technology content to multiple channels, including mobile, tablet, desktop and retail machines.
The agreement will feature five of Casino Technology’s most popular game titles on Playtech platforms during 2014. All five games also were ported through Playtech’s retail subsidiary, Videobet, at the ICE Totally Gaming trade show last week.
