As Poker Central readies for the launch of its new 24/7 online poker site, it has grabbed a big name in pro poker—Antonio Esfandiari—as a partner.
“We are thrilled to add Antonio to the Poker Central team,” said Clint Stinchcomb, chief executive officer of Poker Central. “Antonio is beloved in the poker community, and will be a great asset in launching our 24/7 poker network.”
Poker Central is expected to launch before the end of the 2015. Poker Central is the creator and producer of The Super High Roller Bowl – the new world championship tournament.
“I’m excited to help launch Poker Central,” said Esfandiari. “Soon 24/7 poker will be available all over the world.”
Antonio “The Magician” Esfandiari is known for winning the largest cash prize in the history of poker at $18,346,673 and has $26 million in lifetime poker winnings to his name. He has won two WPT championships and three WSOP bracelets. He previously represented Ultimate Poker, which had iGaming operations in Nevada and New Jersey before shutting down both sites.
