Poker Is Back at MGM Springfield

After 18 months of being closed, the poker room at the MGM Springfield reopened October 29.

The poker room closed during the Covid-19 pandemic, and casino management found it expedient to keep it closed after other parts of the casino reopened.

Chris Kelley, MGM Springfield president and chief operations officer, announced, “MGM Springfield is thrilled to reopen our Poker Room. We are looking forward to welcoming back our loyal players and dozens of employees who have waited for this day for more than a year and a half.”

The room will have 13 tables where up to nine can play cash games.
