Full Tilt Poker no longer exists in its former incarnation as the Amaya Inc.-owned brand has been absorbed into Amaya’s larger PokerStar’s brand.
The company announced they would go through with the merger in February and it was completed May 17.
This platform migration will allow Amaya’s development and technology teams to focus on improving one market-leading platform rather than two, leading to a better gaming experience for all, the company said when announcing the merge. Improvements and features will be delivered faster and more efficiently rather than doubling development requirements, the company said in a press release.
For instance, rather than splitting resources developing Full Tilt Jackpot Sit & Go and PokerStars Spin & Go features independently, teams will be able to work together on delivering the best possible product on one platform, the company said.
Full Tilt will technically still exist, but only as a part of PokerStars. Though the site will still carry Full Tilt logos, the software and play experience is the same as PokerStars.
To celebrate, Amaya has launched a Jackpot Unchained promotion for Full Tilt players who continue playing on the new software.
