PokerStars Introduces Live Dealers for Casino Games

PokerStars has extended its live dealers to non-poker casino games through a partnership with Latvia’s Evolution Gaming. Live dealers are available for Casino Hold ‘em, blackjack, roulette, and baccarat.

PokerStars has taken its live dealer online poker game concept a step further and introduced live dealer casino games.

“Live dealer games appeal to a broad array of players who enjoy the added level of authenticity and trust that comes from seeing the action occur in the analog world,” said Sam Hobcraft, director of PokerStars Casino.

The games were launched through PokerStars partnership with Latvia’s Evolution Gaming.

Players can enjoy their regular poker games, along with casino and live dealer games, all from one central place, “with the same protection of player funds, the same fast payment processing, and the same trust that they have come to expect from PokerStars,” Hobcraft said.

Live dealers are offered on Casino Hold ‘em, blackjack, roulette, and baccarat games.

For the moment, players will have to be on a Windows-based PokerStars 7 client software to participate. Other versions of the software will be available soon, the company said.

PokerStars also announced a new casino game called Immersive Lite Roulette created by Evolution that utilizes HD cameras placed around the wheel to give players a new perspective.
