Portugal’s casinos reopened on July 24. Patrons will be asked to prove they have been vaccinated with a digital certificate or provide negative test results.

The government published the order July 23 in its Diário da República. The guidelines were published in order to allow casinos to operate in high risk or very high risk municipalities if they follow “the guidelines and instructions defined for these activities by the General Directorate of Health (DGS).”
