Potawatomi Announce Second Hotel Tower

The Forest County Potawatomi Community opened a $97.5 million, 381-room hotel at its Potawatomi Hotel & Casino in Milwaukee in August 2014. Now the tribe announced it will build a second, $80 million, 119-room hotel tower to be completed in spring 2019. The 180,000 square foot addition will create 50 new jobs.

The Forest County Potawatomi Community recently announced it will build a second, million, 119-room tower at its Potawatomi Hotel & Casino in Milwaukee. The tribe opened a .5 million, 381-room hotel there in August 2014.

The new 180,000 square foot hotel, expected to open in spring 2019, will offer a spa and additional meeting space, and offer both standard rooms and suites. Chief Operating Officer Rodney Ferguson said, “By adding nearly 60 suites to the property with this expansion, we’re prioritizing our casino guests and their experience when visiting. The rooms, along with the spa, will bolster the property’s reputation as an attractive destination for visitors in the region and beyond.”

He added the expansion will add more than 50 hotel jobs to the nearly 2,700 employees at the property.
