Potawatomi Hotel & Casino in Milwaukee, owned by the Forest County Potawatomi Community, recently held a gala celebration in honor of its 25-year anniversary. The party, held in the property’s Expo Center, featured a surprise performance by R&B recording artist Brian McKnight, as well as table games, unicyclists and much more.

Potawatomi leaders and city officials paid tribute to the property’s success and growth in a special presentation. In addition, the tribe presented a check for $25,000 to Walnut Way Conservation Corporation, a nonprofit neighborhood organization that promotes revitalization of Milwaukee’s Lindsay Heights neighborhood.

Ryan Amundson, external communications manager for Potawatomi Hotel & Casino said, “Walnut Way was chosen because of their commitment in making the community safer, providing increased access to fresh and healthy foods, fostering an environment of academic achievement and positively impacting the local business economy.”
