Potawatomis Announces $80 Million Expansion

Construction will begin this fall on an $80 million, 180,000 square foot hotel tower at Potawatomi Hotel & Casino in Milwaukee, operated by the Forest County Potawatomi Community. Chief Operating Officer Rodney Ferguson said the tribe had the foresight to include footings for a second tower when the first one was built in 2014.

Potawatomi Hotel & Casino in Milwaukee announced an million expansion to include a second, 180,000 square foot hotel tower. Construction will begin this fall and is expected to be completed in spring 2019.

Chief Operating Officer Rodney Ferguson said the Forest County Potawatomi Community built the first hotel in 2014 but, “the footings for the second tower have always been in place in anticipation of an expanded hotel.” Ferguson said the casino will be open during the expansion.

“By adding nearly 60 suites to the property with this expansion, we’re prioritizing our casino guests and their experience when visiting. The rooms, along with the spa, will bolster the property’s reputation as an attractive destination for visitors in the region and beyond,” Ferguson noted.
