Pragmatic Play Expands Spanish Business

Software provider Pragmatic Play signed an agreement to provide a portfolio of more than 100 video slots to iGaming operator Casino Barcelona Online. The Malta-based company recently entered the Spanish market with Casino777 and through a deal with Digital Distribution Management Ibérica. It also recently signed agreements with Portuguese and Italian distributors.

Malta-based software provider Pragmatic Play will expand its operations in Spain through a recent agreement with the iGaming operator Casino Barcelona Online, owned by Grup Peralada. Pragmatic Play will supply a portfolio of more than 100 video slots, including hit title Wolf Gold.

Pragmatic Play recently entered the Spanish market with Casino777 and through a content distribution deal with Digital Distribution Management Ibérica. The Spanish gambling regulator Dirección General de Ordenación del Juego granted Pragmatic Play a license last year.

Pragmatic Play Chief Commercial Officer Melissa Summerfield said, “We are delighted to continue to enhance our footprint in Spain after agreeing this deal with Casino Barcelona. We are always looking to grow in regulated markets, and we are very pleased that this deal with Casino Barcelona is the latest in a long line of agreements that we have signed in Spain this year.”

Pragmatic Play also recently signed agreements to enter the Portuguese market with Solverde and the Italian market with Kindred Group.
